At the forum you will be able to find out more about how your organisation can make links with:

• The DWP Financial Inclusion Champions initiative. This builds on the existing 'now lets talk money' campaign, and Champions will work with local authorities, social landlords and other key partners to make sure people have access to basic financial services, such as safe saving, bank accounts, free money advice, home contents insurance and responsible and affordable credit.
• The Future Rural Energy - England (FREE) project in the North East sponsored by Calor (partners include NEA, ACRE, RCCs and CRC).
• NEA's 2010/11 North East work programme.
• Other topical fuel poverty and energy efficiency developments - with input from members.

Directly after lunch NEA are holding a Technical Workshop on Project planning and the implementation of air source heat pumps; the workshop will be delivered by two members of the technical team and will last for approximately two hours (from 13:00 – 15:00). The workshop will cover:

• Heat pump specifications
• Identifying the correct property types for heat pumps
• NEA’s findings to date
• What gives the most advantages to the client

The workshop will also allow the team to explain a basic heat pump specification program and heat load calculations to attendees.
