North East Fuel Poverty Forum

The forum will give you an opportunity to get up-to-date with all of the latest fuel poverty policies. It will have a health focus so you will be able to find out more about the health impacts of fuel poverty in the North East, and discover what is required to alleviate the effects. You will be able to listen to some case study examples from npower's Health Through Warmth scheme and find out how you can help contribute to the development of a regional winter warmth and fuel poverty action plan.

Forum meetings provide a focus for sharing ideas, developing and promoting good practice and the dissemination of information amongst organisations involved in tackling fuel poverty and providing affordable warmth to low-income and other disadvantaged households in the North East. Forums also highlight topical parliamentary and policy matters and facilitate discussion on a range of energy efficiency operational and technical issues.
