Sustainability is about enabling people throughout the world to satisfy their basic needs and enjoy a better quality of life without compromising that of future generations. Climate Change is the most high profile and urgent sustainability issue, however in the built environment it covers a range of topics such as energy consumption, water use, withstanding climate change and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
